Located to the east, leaving the mouth of the port of Palamós, it will not take more than 20 minutes to reach the immersion point, being able to observe the small coves and two of the best-known beaches of the Costa Brava, such as La Fosca and Castell .
La Fosca has a large area of 40 meters wide and 510 meters long of fine sand with golden tones. Its breadth means that in the summer months bathers do not feel overwhelmed by people and can choose where they want to lay out their towel.
We will pass through Castell beach, which has various characteristics that make this beach a unique stronghold. . It is a considerable extension located in a continuum of fields and forests, without any type of urbanization on its margins. But it is that Castell also has a series of historical remains of great value.
Apart from these two beaches we will also see the typical coves of the Costa Brava and we will pass through some old fishing village where the fishermen of the area used to they kept their fishing utensils
With a depth that goes from 11 mt. at 32 m. the descent will be pronounced, when descending we will see that it is the typical sand bottom with its small promontories full of Posidonia, the main and largest wall is the one that contains the most life.
In this wedge-shaped mountain The orientation is easy since we will always go around the mountain on the same side, returning to the starting point. If we want to move away to discover the surroundings, it will not be difficult for us to find it again, since its shadow will be easily detectable in the distance.
The flora and fauna that we can find in this dive will be typical of the Costa Brava, breams, octopus, moray eels, the occasional dentex. This will be a dive for all levels.
