From the Dive Center Palamós heading south, 35 minutes away is the Llosa de Platja d’Aro. During the tour we can admire the bay of Palamós and Sant Antoni de Calonge in all its breadth with its long promenade, ideal for a quiet walk with views of the sea.
At the end of the promenade south of Sant Antoni de Calonge, Torre Valentina, highlights its defense tower, one of the most famous and best preserved on the Costa Brava, it is located in the heart of the coastal path and was built to spot possible pirates of the time.
We will pass in front of several typical coves of the Costa Brava until we reach the port of Playa De Aro, which will indicate that we are a short distance from our diving point.
In the distance we will see the coast and the profile of the buildings of said population that gives its name to this dive.
Due to its shallow depth it is a dive with lots of light and good visibility, ideal for scuba diving baptisms, diving courses and also for divers with little experience, since its shallow depth makes it an appropriate dive at their level .
For photography enthusiasts with little experience, it is ideal for taking bright and colorful photos, since its light and easy orientation will help to find that tranquility for photographing.
Located in front of Platja d’Aro, it has a bottom formed by porous and low rocks in which sea urchins, breams, moray eels, dentex abound, being able to see schools of skewered bream and the occasional grouper and dentex.
On the walls of the llosa we will find small life and the typical flora of the Costa Brava.
The depth ranges from 7 meters to 25 meters, so as not to get lost, the best option is to follow the rock until return us to the same starting point.

The instructors, dive masters and assistants at Palamós Dive Center are professionals with extensive experience in diving, a large number of dives on the Costa Brava to their credit and all are certified by the Generalitat de Catalunya. Of proven effectiveness in the theoretical and practical teaching of the different diving courses.
All instructors, and other center staff, have the corresponding qualification issued by the most recognized international diving organization PADI that accredits his ability to teach.
